Get Lost Gallas

So Billy Gallas is at it again. He's been talking on his blog about how he's not at Arsenal to play for third place and how we have a lack of ambition and he does not know if he will be an Arsenal player much longer. Please do us a favor Arsene and sell him. Madrid wants him. As I have said earlier, Reyes and Gallas to Madrid for Robinho. We'll even throw in our entire rest of our transfer budget. Just get Gallas out of here. I'm so sick of him whining and I can't stand it anymore. He came here and played half a season and now he acts like he's the team captain and by far the best player, and not only that, he thinks he's the best board member and manager of the club as well. Let's hope he's out of here soon. If anyone disagrees I'd love to hear your side of it.

It's surprising to me that we haven't heard from Arsene Wenger lately. He hasn't made any REAL statements since Henry was sold. He didn't say much of anything about Da Silva and hasn't spoken at all since. This could mean a couple of things: maybe he's working on a new signing, maybe he's working on his own new contract, or maybe he's just having a rough time of it at the moment like most of the rest of us and doesn't feel like speaking to the press just so they can link him with Madrid again. Hopefully he'll give an interview before the friendly this Saturday and we'll get some kind of updates.

On to another point. I've been hearing A LOT of talk about bringing in Bakari Sagna and moving Eboue to right winger. What is our MAIN problem about the wings this past year? Everyone has complained about a lack of goals from the midfield. Is Emmanuel Eboue honestly going to solve that problem? He's a defender! His passing is no better than Hleb's and his dribbling and finishing most certainly aren't as good. There seems to me to be no point in putting him at right midfield, because it doesn't solve any of the problems we have at the position. I don't think Eboue is a very good defender, but I don't think the solution is to put him on the wing. Find a new one or leave Hleb there, but we don't need a defender in the midfield. Let me know what you think.

In other news, Matthew Connolly has gone on loan to Colchester United for the year. He seems really happy about it so that's good for him. Hopefully someday he'll break into the first team squad. I think Wenger rates him pretty highly so we'll see how he does over the course of his loan spell. Best of luck to him.

And that's about it. I'd really like to know what you think about Gallas and Robinho and Eboue. Cheers all

gallas needs to go, i think hes a good player but he just doesn't keep his mouth shut, the team has been disrupted enough with henry leaving, wenger not signing a contract and all the speculation abouyt fabregas, and he has to make things worse by running his mouth about the team, we have other players who can take his place, senderos, djourou, hoyte, so i really think we should let him go.

THE WAY I C IT, GALLAS IS IN THE SAME FRAME OF MIND AS TH14 B4 HE LEFT, THINKING "I COULD BE PLAYING WITH BIG NAMES AND WINNING THINGS INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR THESE KIDS TO MATURE". BUT HIS COMMENTS DEFINITELY WERE MEANT TO SIGNAL AN INTENT AND AN EXCUSE TO LEAVE ARSENAL. BY ALL MEANS, LET HIM GO, BRING BACK SENDEROS, I THINK HE PLAYS BETTER WITH TOURE AND THAT PARTNERSHIP CAN ONLY GET BETTER.

AFRICA'S #1 GUNNER!!

Dont get me wrong Gallas is not right to publicly state the team is rubbish but I do agree with a few things he said.
We should be fighting for 3rd place, when did we surrender the league to ManU and Chelsea?
I think we need more strong characters in the dressing room, I read an interview with Cesc where he side several times at half time during the season the dressing room was quiet because everything was too afraid to say something.
Gallas can go but Wenger should buy a few more players that have the fighting attitude like Steven Taylor of Newcastle or Curtis David of WestBrom

I definitely agree that we need more leadership, and I think you're right, we don't have many players that would be willing to speak up during a match. Honestly the only one that comes to mind would be Jens, and I think he could really do a good job of that. Hopefully the leadership problem gets solved, because we need it

If you look at who provided the crucial goals that came from crosses for us it was eboue. he can play the wing, hleb is a choker. so i say get sagna as right back, toure and gallas (cos senderos needs to get his confidence up) and clichy at left. Wiley Wenger has a few tricks up his sleeve yet, wait for it!!

ok, Eboue can have an occasional good cross when he makes an occasional forward run, but do I think his dribbling, passing, and scoring are up to par for a premiership winger? No i don't. We need a winger, no matter what. Even if Eboue goes down, who's there to back him up? We wouldn't keep hleb on the bench the whole season if we're planning on moving eboue to wing, we'd sell him. We have to bring in a winger in my opinion, because Eboue is not what we need

WE NEED A WINGER! That is for sure without a doubt. So far we have bought a keeper,a right back, a striker and looks like freddie is leaving too. Eboue needs more work to be an effective offensive option. Is Arsene training walcott to be a wingman, the next overmarrrss!!!!!? We should've bought Ribery. should've bought this and that but hey we're not the $$$$ club in the league.
