I Am SO Sick of William Gallas!

I am. I'm absolutely tired of him playing for Arsenal. After watching his terrible marking allowing a goal versus Fulham yet again today, I've decided I've had enough. I'm not the manager obviously, but if I was I'd sell him right now. I'd rather have Senderos than Gallas back there. He doesn't work well with Toure and he has no commitment to the club. Wondering why we've surrendered so many shite goals the last few seasons? Well look no further.

What does William Gallas bring to the team? You can't say he's bringing leadership, and I don't think many people want him as the captain. A lot of people say he's a "world class defender" but where has that been since he's been at Arsenal? I haven't seen a hint of it. Terrible at marking on set plays and long balls, so what on earth does he do that Toure can't do better? Either Gallas just doesn't care or he's just not as good as he used to be. Give me f'ing Mikael Silvestre partnering Toure for all I care, I just don't want to see William Gallas allowing one more poxy goal for this club.

PSG wants him don't they? If I was Arsene I'd be calling them up at half time to see what they'll offer for him. We're playing a team that lost to Hull last week! But yet again shoddy marking on a set play from our "captain" allows them to take the lead.

I know he isn't solely responsible for us being down, but you can't blame the goal Fulham scored on not having a defensive midfielder or another keeper, it was simply poor marking. He let his man go and he put it away. Honestly I think I would have marked him better. At least I care about winning or losing when I play, I think that's more than I can say for William.

Time to go watch the second half. Hopefully the rest of our team cares a lot more than Gallas does and we'll go on to win this. Come on you Gunners!

Actual quote from an Arsenal season ticket holder I read today, here's what is wrong with our club right now:

"seriously I don't give a fuck about my season ticket i'M giving it up. why would anyone wanna go to a game at the moment our team is fucking wank"

The whole team looks asleep. Van Persie and Ade have already had their mandatory blown chance for the game, so hopefully both are on target in the 2nd half.

Well we deserved every bit of that loss. I haven't seen a worse performance out of Arsenal in a long time. Every other pass was inaccurate, every other shot and cross blocked.

I would say the internationals at midweek hurt us, but Denilson was one of the worst players and he never left London!

It's not doom and gloom just yet, but we need to get some guys back from injury and start playing like Arsenal again.

Central midfield created not a single good pass. Drop Eboue and give us a new midfield signing!

Denilson was disappointing. Misplacing so many passes. I cant imagine what will happen if Fab doesn't get back soon.

Lol Eboue was like the best player for arsenal!

Good to see that Gilberto reads this site lol

eboue was bad. but guess what.
denilson was worse.
wow..

thats not the worst thing.
the worst is that arsene has lost it

he actually thinks this team can contend? haha lmao.

you guys definitely need better players. i mean, you guys haven't won a single thing for 2-3 years already right? its gonna piss some of your stars soon... like fab...

oh and how can't i forget gallas?
hahah, nonchalant effort. he doesn't deserve to be you guys' captain. yucks

I'm sick of the whole teams performance today........Arsenal need to spend big, fed up seeing youngsters that have no grit.....Ade is S**t...we have no fire power up front.......miss king Henry.......the PL will not be won by Arsenal if we can't beat teams like Fulham. Look at Liverpool today...trailing 1-0 and come back to beat Middleborough 2-1.....Arsenal look weak. watched the game and i couldn’t see positives.....going to watch X-factor and try to forget get about today’s game.

Anonymous said...

Eboue obviously played much better when he was switched to the right flank. We seriously need fab back and also another midfielder.

Anonymous said...

DENILSON WAS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE TODAY!!!!!!!!!! OMG HE SUCKED TODAY. FABREGAS & ROSICKY COME BACK PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

We'll played shit-eboue played alright but i still think we need a stronger holding midfield then him- we need more creativity there- van persie's got to practise he's free kicks or give nasri a shot- and walcot has to get more involved in the game though it was an improvement from last week- and gallas definitly has to do better.

Anonymous said...

we need to get barry- and fast

Anonymous said...

Yeh totally agree. arsenal need a replacement for Gallas and almunia plus a midfielder (alonso). although i dont think we have the time now, but we need to cahnge deffinately !

Anonymous said...

Denilson was shite and i thought when song was coming on he was replacing him. wtf happen there?

pathetic performance from the start all the way till the end.

Anonymous said...

I would rather feel that Walcott is more of a player who comes on half way through the match and make a big impact. I just like he did a couple of times last seasons. I guess that those dumb international friendlies really hurts.

Anonymous said...

wenger is delusional. he's lost it. players just reflect his attitude.

Anonymous said...

Bookies probably paid them to throw the game. look at denilson he probably is the one that took the biggest chunk of the payment

Anonymous said...

Almunia cant make any spectcular saves like the other top 4 teams goalkeepers. Even though he doesnt make mistakes he's still not good enough !

Anonymous said...

Having Fabregas and Rosicky back will not make any difference if we don’t have a quality finisher.....RVP doesn’t seem the same player he was two years ago & Ade is just a donkey........can’t control and won’t control......we should have sold him when we had the chance. I feel really aggrieved with AW.....his stupid policies not buying proven players and believing his young team can compete with the likes of Chelski...ManU......AW you have lost it..........I’m worried that we may not even finish in the top four never mind competing for honours. AW – buy now or leave Arsenal and give someone else a chance who wants to win trophies.

Anonymous said...

If i had paid to watch arsenal played today i would probably be kicking my self right now. if this continues im very sure they goona find it hard to fill the emirates with people.

Aw is too stubborn to change his policies so i dont see that happening.

Anonymous said...

almunia cant make spectacular saves- arsenal needs a goalkeeper who can- also we can't finish- eduardo needs to come back fast and i think we should try to get one more striker or cf- van persie is just not cutting it

Wah Wah Wah! cry all you want to guys but why act surprised?

I've been an arsenal fan since I was 10 years old , nobody can doubt under arsene wenger arsenal have scaled new heights. Gone global.

However , there comes a time when things get stale & start to stink.
That is now , for the last few years Mr wengers tactics have been.. dubious to say the least. While the passing game is entertaining , it doesn't fit well in the English Premier League. Gone are the days when arsenal were THE most fearsome team, when we would kick the other team off the pitch if necessary.

I think its time for mr wenger to take a long hard look at every player on arsenals books , at all the coaching staff & himself, then ask one simple question for every individual..
"Does this person give 100% for the sole success of arsenal fc"
Unfortunately , we the fans , know that is not true in most of our players. From gallas to eboue , the youngsters who have a lot of potential but don't seem to be committed , RVP & Ade , I wouldn't say one of them would bleed & suffer for arsenals success.

But even more importantly , does mr wenger still want it that badly?
Judging by his tactics in the transfer markets , the way he handles himself on match days & the way he chooses his teams. I would say there has been a noticeable decline in his thoroughness .
It simply isn't good enough any more , as fans who plough our money into the club season after season we are the ones getting screwed. I demand better , I would rather finish mid-table with a 25 man squad of players who would die in the arsenal shirt rather than end up 3rd again with 9 first teamsters who seem to be there just for money & a future move.

Sorry for the rant everyone but I am very very very dissapointed

i don't know why you are so angry about Gallas? Gallas is not our main problem, though he is not that reliable. our defence line has never been good for seasons. one-nil down was not that bad actually and i would say it's quite usual but, but the thing is we just lacked midfield generator, quality front man and there was no linking at all up front. if the situation won't be changed soon then, the Arsenal won't be Arsenal anymore.

Anonymous said...

by the way, it seemed Arsene was so angry about everything on the pitch tonight. but how come? he chose the players and was supposed to know them well.. but Arsene really KNOWS? i doubt. but, i will be more than happy he can prove me wrong.

AW has made a laughing stock of us true Arsenal fans.........As a fan I keep defending AW and the club that we are going to achieve something this year by winning the PL or CL.

I’m surrounded by Manu Fans....both my neighbours, brother in-laws, their kids and most of my friends are Manu fans. My phone hasn’t stopped ringing as I know it will be a Manu fan ringing me to have a laugh at AW expense.........I’m so fed up, I would not have felt this bad had Arsenal showed the desire/commitment of trying wining today’s game, but there was no signs. Walcott is weak...he is not ready and doesn’t deserve to wear an Arsenal shirt, he pulls out of challenges like a girl, gets brushed of the ball and falls down...where is the commitment, he should be playing for the Arsenal ladies and why the heck is he wearing our King Henry’s number....what a lack of respect.......Gallas needs to go......we lost because of him again by not marking his man........my bank holiday is ruined...thanks to AW and his uncommitted players today.

I feel sick. Where's the inspiration gonna come from. We can't expect leadership on the field if we don't get it from the management. Adebayor is mince. And he's greedy. And he should f**k off. And if Denilson is one of the 'future stars' that we're curbing spending for then we're in big f**king trouble. He wants to set himself a target of playing for Brazil this year?? Don't make me laugh! I think this is the end of an era. I can't see us winning anything else under AW. His fire is gone..

one last thing i have to mention: we still played beautiful games even if we lost them two or three seasons ago but now..

Anonymous said...

Come to mama. I and many others have been sounding the alarm bells all summer as we lost experience and most bloggers brushed it off, well, anyone admit perhaps they were wrong?

Arsene is a man of principle and character and far from stupid. He's given the lads a run now and they've shown what they can do. Today's events will have sharpened his mind and he will take action.

And if Galles ever yells at any one like he did Djourou I will pull the knives out on him. For 90K a wk he played like a girl today.

We are missing cesc, but fulham had a better midfield today and the scoreline was fair.

i was so happy seeing scums loose, but this just knocked me down for the hole season, AW need's to look at himself and see if he has the desire to win, take the armband off Gallas, change the goalkeeper (what about lehmann he was out every single corner) sell all the fuckin youngsters or loan them till they are 22-23, sell gallas, i hope i will not see silvestre ever wear an Arsenal shirt he will be worse than gallas, buy barry, sell fuckin two left legged v.persie (he uses the right leg only to go into the bus), resign from managerial role, i am sick of seeing him treat player's as his son's wtf...

we were taken to task by a mediocre team. with a deep squad we ooops, well we should be able to rotate out players who are not performing.

Anonymous said...

I am not panicked at this performance as we will win a boat-load of games this season. But today's loss will compel Arsene to act. Our young guns have been doing some talking but their walking was far below standard. I think Arsene was as disappointed as anyone.

Anonymous said...

i hope we loose the next games so arsene and everyone at arsenal get serious about what needs to change.

Milot Mehmeti said...

fran, i am curious to know against whom we will win those games ? chelsea ? man.u ? liverpool ? even bolton, blackburn, middlesbrough, a.villa, everton ? with this performance i doubt stoke, we need to change just go back and look the likes of henry, viera, pires, ljungberg....if we tend to be a big club there is no place for players like bendtner, denilson, eboue (omg)...nevermind i am too nervous, we quickly need a midfielder :@

ArseNole said...

I wasn't really intending to push the panic button with this post here guys. It was a bad result yes but these things do happen sometimes. Last year it was the game at Middlesbrough that was just as awful. I was just trying to say that I'm sick of Gallas, not that I have lost faith in the whole team.

Milot Mehmeti said...

srry all but i am so upset, maybe i went too far but really some of the players don't deserve playin for arsenal.

Anonymous said...

awful performance however there was one small positive

when song came on he looked class with the few things he did.

3 excellent sweeping passes cutting across the entire field and an urgency and tidiness in his game that was just non-existent elsewhere. it was only a cameo for him but i wonder if he can be the answer to our dm situation...

fulham played pretty well so i'm pleased for them but what bothers me most (and it's been this way during the invincibles too) is that we have a habit of not taking a game that seriously until we have to. in the final 15 minutes we stepped up 2 gears and even though we still weren't great we suddenly looked serious. why on earth do we have to be 1-0 down with 15 minutes left to look serious, can't we have that for the first half hour and win a game early for once? would be greatly appreciated....

Anonymous said...

we need cesc back...badly.

Although it's early in the season, we did not look sharp today. Talk about missing Fabregas! .this shows how important he is to our team. Perhaps this loss is good, maybe Wenger can now see how thin we are at midfield. We need and should sign Alonso ASAP. Go Gunners!

Anonymous said...

where to start: watching this game i saw no presence in midfield what so ever, we barely got any tackles from our midfielders. gallas shows that he is not worthy of being a captain. our team had no flow what so ever. we did not have any plays being made. all we saw were long balls to adebayor, which got us no where.

adebayor: didnt get the ball in good enough positions to do anything:

van persie: looks match fir, but is not sharp at all.

walcott: useless. seems like he learns from eboue with his diving, and attempts at cutting in field. he should stick with running in straight lines down the flanks, which he didnt do at all.

denilson: worst performance ever. couldnt put one pass on our boots. gave it to fulham player almost everytime. didnt make any tackles in the field.

eboue: had potential to be a def. mid but proved wrong. tried to be offensive, didnt show any signs of his defensive skills what so ever, and did shit.

nasri: he didnt play to well as he had no support, and no one to feed it to. held on to the ball as he could, but had no vision.

defence: was ok in general, aside from the shite taht gallas pulled. no dedication or will to want that ball, as he let the defender walk right through him.

wenger: where was vela in the squad? terrible subs selection. shoul've had vela on the bench. put him on the left, moved nasri to the right when he pulled out walcott. so first mistake was not having vela there. secondly why out on song for toure????? song shoulda replaced denilson. ultimatley, after his first sub and changes with bentdner, and shifting vanp in the middle, song shoulda played behind van p instead on denilson.

this was a terrible performance. we saw that we have no depth, grit, creativity in midfield without cesc and with the lose of flammster. we need a couple of midfield additions NOW. as for the defence, well maybe silvestre will play better along gallas, but gallas is surely not worthy of the captains band, and toure should be in the starting XI for sure.

what a dissapointment..another cupless year as we see first hand what we are with the lack of just 1 vital player...

Agree with many here. We deserved to lose. Gallas has not helped the team enough, especially as a captain. RvP looks to be still recovering from his long layoff, his partnership with Ade not there. The midfield today a disgrace. And Arsenal have become delusional regarding their transfer policy.

Yet there was still enough talent on the field today to get a point, and reasonably, all three. The biggest problem we face now is one of eroded team chemistry. Between an open door policy for our veterans, which, of course, started right before the trophies dried up, and a non-stop run of injuries, the lads on the pitch hardly know one and another. A few signings will not fix this. We may be in for it this season, I fear.

Anonymous said...

The only person to blame for today's performace is Arsene Wenger. His constant stubborness will continue to cost us. The only reason we bought Silvestre is because he's cheap. Not sure if he will be the solution (injury prone as well). We may be the third richest club in the world but I guarantee you that are number one when it comes to being tight.

The WORST fucking performance I have ever seen an Arsenal side play. Get rid of these young fucking french-speaking african kids and bring back the Tony Adams to Arsenal.

i live in australia, and the match was at 2.30 a.m. i stayed up just to watch the match, and after 60 mins or so, i fell asleep. honestly it was the first arsenal match i've watched and i slept after more than 10 years of supporting them ever since i was a kid. that just sums up the whole display last night. what stylish football ? what a load of crap.

oohh..i think u havn't seen it was absolute crap by clichy..he was just standing still when the goal was scored..and done nothing 2 stop it..but in the end Arsenal played well..2 create chances..Always hope GooD for Arsenal..better luck next time..
