It was a stunning goal on a huge stage. Still, I don't think I'll ever forgive the Champions League video people for running a bunch of replays and only going back to live action a second before Adebayor buried the kick.
He did it so nonchalantly I wasn't sure it counted at first LOL
Mike you are so right! They came back from the replays as the ball was in the net! I had no idea what had even gone on and everyone was so stunned at the goal that nobody was even really celebrating. What an amazing goal though and especially when we needed one so badly
it was fucking beautiful, and everyone in the pub was confused. then we saw the good replay and went nuts a minute later, once we saw the type of goal it was.
I was slightly annoyed as well. I thought it was offside or something. It was so surreal. We could have scored another surreal goal as well after that!
The goal was absolutely amazing, but I'm worried about Gallas and Almunia being out for so long. This could be bad.
